Yes. One of the best things about the Waikoloa Wedding Planner Atelier is that we are a full service Wedding design office for Couples to plan their special day. The following Services are available:

Will I need to arrange an officiant for the ceremony?
We work with various male and female Non-Denominational and Christian Officiants
from the local community. They perform very heartfelt, warm ceremonies. You
are welcome to bring an officiant of your choice.

Can I have a Catholic ceremony and be married by a priest?
Although the Resort’s Wedding Pavilion is non-denominational, the official
Hawaii Catholic Diocese position is that no wedding ceremonies will be recognized
outside the Catholic Church. We encourage you to speak with your personal clergy
about your situation.

What documents will I need for my wedding?
Proof of a valid Hawaii
marriage license is required prior to hosting your wedding ceremony at
the resort.

When can I reserve my wedding date?
Your Wedding can be booked 12 months in advance of your wedding date (based
on availability). We are able to confirm catered reception space (90) days
prior to your Wedding date. Weddings are normally held seven days a week
from 10:00am until sunset.

What's the payment and deposit schedule for Weddings?
A signed Wedding Contract along with your non-refundable deposit will be required to confirm your wedding date. The minimum deposit amount is $1,500.00 or 25% of event estimate for catered receptions and is due at the time of the signed contract. This deposit will be applied your Wedding services. Payment in full for your event will be due no less than three business days prior to your event date. Payment deadlines are determined by method of payment and are outlined in the event contract.

and videography service for my Wedding?
We suggest Zac’s Imaging Service for all of your Still Photography and
Videography needs for your special day. A wide range of styles and packages
is available.

Is there a Spa where my bridesmaids
and I can pamper ourselves before the big day?
Yes. The Kohala Sports Club & Spa is located below the Wedding Atelier
at the Hilton. There you can take advantage of all the latest spa therapies,
treatments, and beauty regimens. And just in case the guys need a little help
with those pre-wedding jitters, a massage might work wonders for them, too.
You might also want to arrange a massage at the Seaside cabana for the day
after the wedding -- the ultimate indulgence!

How do I plan my Wedding long distance?
We are delighted to attend to all of the wedding planning details via telephone, e-mail, faxes, and mail if your schedule does not permit a visit prior to your wedding event.
Rest assured that the entire staff of the Hilton Waikoloa Village stands ready to assist you with all of the planning details of your very special wedding event.
We will make every effort to accommodate your requests for site visits and meetings with sufficient advanced notice. This will allow your wedding specialist to schedule adequate time to dedicate to you while you are here.
Planning your destination Wedding in Hawaii should not be a challenge. Upon receipt of your signed contract and wedding deposit, an introduction letter will be sent to you outlining important deadlines necessary to make your planning as smooth as possible.
Our Weddings Specialists will guide you through all steps of planning your Wedding. Together we will determine your flowers, music, officiant, photographer, videographer, wedding cake and reception. We will handle all coordinating, hiring, ordering and confirmation of your services providers/vendors.

Our Wedding Atelier office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (Hawaii Standard Time). Saturdays and Sundays by appointment.
Hawaii does not observe daylight savings time. So during the Spring and Summer months, Hawaii is (6) Hours behind the East Coast (EDT), (5) Hours behind the Midwest (CDT) and (3) Hours behind West Coast (PDT). When daylight savings time is not in effect, Hawaii is (5) Hours behind East Coast, (4) hours behind the Midwest and (2) hours behind West Coast.

What do I need to do once I arrive in Hawaii?
Obtaining
your Marriage License is the most important step upon arriving
in Hawaii. Appointments for marriage license may be made up to
(30) days prior to your Wedding date. A $60.00 cash fee and proof
of identification is required at that time.
In order to ensure a very smooth, memorable Wedding, we request an appointment to review your event. Please schedule an appointment with your Wedding Coordinator.
We are with you on your Wedding day to guide you and your Guests.
And to ensure that all details are taken care of.

Do you offer Ceremonies on the beach?
Our “Hale Aloha” Wedding Pavilion/Chapel, Oceanside Gazebo, Palace Gardens Oceanfront Lawn, Buddha Point and the majestic Grand Staircase offer a variety of ocean view locations. The Hilton Waikoloa Village does not offer “beach weddings”.
Our Wedding locations are closed off to the public during the ceremony to ensure privacy for your special day.
Your photography and videography will highlight the beauty of our tropical resort.

Are my guests required to stay at the resort? Will they
receive a discounted room rate?
Your guests may stay wherever they please. However, in order to make it easy
and affordable for them to attend your special event, we are pleased to offer
them a special rate with consideration of your Wedding at the resort.
Group Rates for (10) or more rooms are available through our

The Hilton
Waikoloa Village offers a wide variety of reception venues. Private
Oceanside dining for two, dinner reservations in one of our fine
restaurants for up to (40) people, private catered reception in one
of our beautiful outdoor locations or indoor ballrooms. The options
are endless.

Do you offer Vow Renewals?
What better way to re-commit your love to one another than with
a Renewal of wedding vows ceremony.
We offer a special vow renewal package at $1,000.00 with our Oceanside
Wedding Pavilion setting, officiant to perform the ceremony, Hawaiian
flower leis to exchange during ceremony, bottle of sparkling wine
to toast the celebration, Hawaiian CD music, and “Happy Anniversary” canal
boat ride.

Can we take Photographs on Property if not getting married

We will assist you in planning a romantic honeymoon that is as unique as the love you share.
